Abstract

In this work, we present RoadtripBuddy, a web application for toll and fuel stations on the greek road network offering functionalities for lowest-cost routes between selected source - destination pairs for various vehicle settings. The application supports both list view and visualization on an interactive map, list of favorite routes, notifications and it is currently available in english and greek. Moreover, as a progressive web application, RoadtripBuddy can be used both as a website and a mobile application on any device. For the development HTML, CSS and JavaScript have been used while interactive map visualization has been based on the MapTiler.
